DR ARMSTRONG IS RETIRING AT THE END OF SEPTEMBER 2017

"It is with mixed emotions that I announce my retirement from Scottsdale Veterinary Hospital after 30 years. I have sold my shares in the practice and as of the end of September 2017; I will no longer be a full time member of the Scottsdale team. I look forward to entering my "semi retirement" as a locum or relief veterinarian for Scottsdale Veterinary Hospital and other well-respected hospitals in British Columbia. I hope to continue a part time career as a veterinarian, ski instructor (now 18 seasons with Whistler/Blackcomb), as well as, continue to serve my profession as a councillor of the Canadian Veterinary Medical Association and director of the Society of British Columbia Veterinarians."

Ceilidh (VOA) – Veterinary Assistant/Customer Care

Ceilidh (pronounced Kaylee) graduated from the Veterinary Office Assistant program at Douglas College in March 2014. Ceilidh had completed her practicum with us here at the hospital and it was opportune that we required the employment of a VOA just after she graduated from her program. Ceilidh has two dogs at home: Millie (cockapoo) and Sandy (lab mix).

Laura (VOA) – Veterinary Assistant/Customer Care

Laura joined our team in the Spring of 2016 after completing her VOA practicum here. While Laura was helping both our front and back teams during her practicum, we realized how much we wanted and needed more help in all areas of the hospital. She has a yellow Labrador named Cooper and is interested in animal behaviour and training.

Christopher – Veterinary Assistant/Customer Care

Bio coming soon.

Jayson – Veterinary Assistant/Customer Care

Jayson joined Scottsdale in the Fall of 2016 just after finishing his Veterinary Assistant Program as a Valedictorian for CDI College. Just after, Jayson returned to school, this time, at Langara ready to start his undergraduate in Health Sciences. He is a very excitable person always eager to learn and happy to help his co workers and clients in anyway he can. He has two cats, previously stray kittens, that has become one of the joys in his life, their names are "Panda" and "Alley" and they are cuddly purring machines!
